Job Description

Role Overview: As an Enterprise Account Executive at Zendesk, you will be a key member of the sales team in the India - South Region, specifically based in Bangalore. Your primary focus will be on key verticals such as Technology, Retail, eCommerce, Fin Tech, Manufacturing, Travel & Hospitality, and Transportation. You will play a crucial role in providing sales leadership and creative direction to key customers, offering you the opportunity to grow within Zendesk's dynamic sales environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and develop a subset of top Enterprise accounts - Build and manage a high-volume sales pipeline - Collaborate across teams with solution consultants, channel partners, marketing teams, and business development to enhance territory coverage - Become an expert on Zendesk's products, conducting discovery calls, presentations, and demos - Develop and nurture relationships with prospects and accounts in your designated territory - Demonstrate and communicate the value proposition to key customers during fast-paced and sophisticated sales cycles - Plan and execute customer engagement and acquisition strategies within your assigned territory - Maintain detailed records of opportunities and customer information in Salesforce - Identify and cultivate partner relationships to establish a partner ecosystem in collaboration with Zendesk's Channels and Alliances teams Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 10+ years of relevant SaaS software selling experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience in selling to C-Level executives - Proven success in selling within large Enterprises in India - Track record of achieving quota targets at the enterprise level - Strong ethical standards, integrity, and self-motivation - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in using Google Suite and Clari - Willingness to travel within the country and South India 50% of the time Please note that candidates physically located and planning to work from Karnataka or Maharashtra are eligible for this position. The role will have a hybrid work model that combines onsite collaboration with remote work flexibility to be determined by the hiring manager.
