ENT Specialist (Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor)

with 2-6 years of experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality medical care, advancing patient health, and promoting health education within the community. This role requires a balance of clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and a commitment to continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of healthcare.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care
    • Diagnose and treat conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
    • Perform outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and surgical interventions as required.
    • Prescribe and manage treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
    • Conduct diagnostic tests such as audiometry, endoscopy, and imaging interpretation.
  • Healthcare Delivery
    • Ensure adherence to best medical practices, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols.
    • Collaborate with general practitioners, pediatricians, audiologists, speech therapists, and other specialists for comprehensive care.
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements in ENT healthcare and apply evidence-based practices.
    • Manage emergency ENT conditions promptly and effectively.
  • Patient Engagement & Health Education
    • Provide clear communication to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery pathways.
    • Educate patients about preventive healthcare practices, lifestyle modifications, and long-term care for ENT-related conditions.
    • Participate in awareness programs, health camps, and community initiatives to promote health literacy.
    • Create and share educational materials (brochures, presentations, or seminars) on common ENT health issues.
  • Professional Development
    • Engage in continuous medical education (CME) programs, workshops, and training sessions.
    • Contribute to internal case discussions, clinical audits, and research initiatives.
    • Mentor junior doctors, interns, and medical students in ENT practices and healthcare delivery.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong foundation in healthcare and medical sciences, with specific expertise in otolaryngology.
  • Proficiency in conducting ENT examinations, diagnostic tests, and minor/major surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient counseling, team collaboration, and community health education.
  • Ability to balance clinical efficiency with compassionate patient care.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, especially in urgent care situations.
  • Knowledge of modern ENT equipment, surgical techniques, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Commitment to advancing public health awareness and preventive healthcare practices.

Qualifications

  • MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
  • MS/DNB/DOMS in ENT (Otolaryngology) or equivalent specialization.
  • Valid medical license/registration as per regulatory requirements.
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience in ENT practice, hospital, or clinic settings
