Key Responsibilities Patient Consultation & Diagnosis: Meet with patients to understand their symptoms and medical history, and perform physical exams and diagnostic tests to identify conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, or head and neck. Medical & Surgical Treatment: Prescribe medications, provide therapies, or perform surgical interventions for a variety of conditions, including infections, allergies, sinus problems, and tumors. Managing Specific Conditions: Ear: Treat ear infections, hearing loss, tinnitus, balance disorders, and nerve-related issues. Nose: Address sinusitis, allergies, loss of smell, and nasal airway obstruction. Throat: Manage tonsillitis, voice and swallowing problems, and diseases of the larynx. Head & Neck: Treat benign and malignant tumors, facial trauma, and cosmetic or reconstructive surgical needs. Surgical Procedures: Perform surgeries such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, sinus surgeries, and nasal surgeries to correct blockages. Follow-up Care: Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care. Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
