Job Summary:

We are seeking passionate and experienced English educators to join our growing team as SAT English Tutors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAT English content, test-taking strategies, and pedagogy. This is a remote, full-time position focused on preparing students for the English sections of the SAT, as well as developing their overall reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging SAT English lessons through Zoom.
• Teach key components of the SAT: Reading Comprehension, Writing & Language, Grammar, and Vocabulary.
• Diagnose individual student strengths and weaknesses and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Review instructional materials, lesson plans, practice questions, and mock tests.
• Provide detailed feedback to students to support continuous improvement.
• Monitor student progress and communicate performance updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay current with SAT test changes, trends, and best practices in English instruction.
• Collaborate with academic mentors and curriculum designers to ensure consistent and effective delivery of content.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in English, Education, Literature, or a related field.
• Prior experience teaching SAT English or related standardized exams
• Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and rhetorical analysis.
• Strong instructional and presentation skills, particularly in an online teaching environment.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate students across different academic backgrounds.
• Familiarity with online educational tools and platforms (Zoom).
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to student success and academic mentorship.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in IB, AP, or international curricula.
• Content development experience for standardized tests.
• Knowledge of data-driven instruction and student assessment methodologies.
