Job Description

Provide technical guidance and mentor team members
Lead global team in the design of new products, processes and/or systems
Lead discussions and manage customers requirements and expectations
Resolves complex design issues
Lead robust product development excellence initiatives
Lead validation discussions
Responsible for delivering robust and validated design on time and cost to meet deliverables
Evaluate and take action on shop support requests
Ability to communicate technical information in a succinct and accurate manner
Lead product and supplier strategies with long term vision
Collaborate with cross functional teams

Qualification/Experience:

Requires Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
Relevant experience of 8-10 years with Bachelor s degree or 6-8 years with Masters degree or higher
Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to lead teams and mentor them
Exhibited the ability to begin working independently and have demonstrated ability to apply theory and concept to product design
