Job Description

Handle procurement of
engineering items, spare parts, machinery, and utilities
for pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.
Manage vendor development, negotiations, and maintain vendor relationships for timely supply.
Ensure procurement of
CAPEX and OPEX items
related to pharma engineering requirements.
Evaluate and compare vendor quotations to secure the most cost-effective deals without compromising on quality.
Coordinate with
Engineering, Projects, and Maintenance teams
to understand requirements and specifications.
Ensure compliance with
GMP, cGMP, and regulatory standards
in procurement activities.
Prepare and maintain
purchase orders, contracts, and documentation
in ERP/SAP systems.
Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
Support
cost optimization initiatives
while ensuring uninterrupted plant operations.
Maintain records of supplier performance and conduct periodic vendor audits.
