Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Purchase Procedures: a. Execute end-to-end procurement processes for electrical , mechanical and electronics engineering components. b. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures. c. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather purchasing requirements. d. Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual terms and conditions. e. Resolve contractual disputes in coordination with legal and other relevant departments. 2. Taxation and Regulatory Compliance: a. Stay updated on GST regulations, taxes, and other relevant compliance requirements. 3. Invoice and Payment Processing: a. Verify and process invoices in accordance with established procedures. b. Coordinate with finance for timely and accurate payment processing. c. Address and resolve any discrepancies in invoices. 4. Exchange Rate and Customs: a. Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and assess their impact on procurement costs. b. Collaborate with customs officials to ensure smooth import/export processes. c. Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and compliance requirements. 5. Vendor Development and Management: a. Identify and onboard new vendors, particularly in the engineering sector. b. Evaluate vendor performance and implement improvement strategies. c. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. 6. Contract Negotiation: a. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors. b. Optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards. c. Work closely with legal and technical teams during contract negotiations. 7. Deliveries and Packaging: a. Monitor and track the progress of orders to ensure timely deliveries. b. Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline delivery processes. c. Ensure adherence to quality standards in packaging and shipping.
