Job Description

Role & responsibilities

To plan, schedule and monitor all activities of purchase department.
Having exposure for Regulated Market Purchase
Identify and develop and introduce new source for existing and new material. as per quality
requirement for RM/PM
Negotiate with vendor and finalize the price for raw /packing material
Ensure the availability of raw and packing material as per delivery schedule.
Convert the purchase requisitions into purchase order as per approved vendor, material
specification, delivery scheduled and quantity required.
Follow up with vendor for material deliveries as per schedule agreed.
Having Knowledge of QMS /Change control Procedure, Raise quality documents in case of change in source of raw / packing material.
Maintain commercial agreement with transporter.
Provide support to internal customers like Store, Accounts, QA, QC, PPIC, TT, FR&D and packaging development departments.
Coordinate with packaging development and vendor for implementation of new artwork and
deliver the material as per schedule.
Coordinate with QA and vendor for regulatory audit and compliances.
Coordinate with QA, QC, Store, Accounts, vendor and transporter for rejected / damaged material clearance.
Follow-up with accounts department for clearance of vendor payments.
Ensure timely availability of AA import NOC before shipment of material from foreign supplier.
To follow with supplier and CHA for Clear the Import consignment from custom.
Having Knowledge of SAP
