Bring passion and dedication to your job, and theres no telling what you could accomplish!The Hardware Test Engineering organization is looking for an Engineering Program Manager with Business Data Science knowledge to join our team. This role is not just about maintaining a strong awareness of the processes and systems applied by engineering, operations, and finance, but about making a significant impact with a particular emphasis on data visualization and various reporting systems and tools, the successful candidate will be crucial in collaborating with business team members and partners to understand needs, evaluate options, and facilitate the selection, planning, and delivery of solutions. A blend of business, technical understanding and project management is essential to our success. Description As a key player in our organization, you will oversee various factory processes such as planning, inventory management, order management, optimization, reverse logistics, and more. Identify gaps and patterns across LOBs, functional teams, and analyze data to recommend process, system innovation, and efficiency initiatives that will deliver internal customer-focused solutions, support a broad, cohesive strategy for feature enhancements to systems and tools.You will drive the collection, pre-processing, clean-up, analysis, and visualization of data sets generated by the factory process. Work with large, complex data sets and use advanced methods to identify data-use opportunities and advocate for intelligent model applications where needed, to control quality, specify requirements and solve challenging problems.You will work closely with multi-functional teams and other data scientists to extract insights from data to integrate models and help priorities the organizations development focus.You will act as a business process champion for system and tool feature design, gathering requirements, user testing, and implementation improvements toward intelligent models. You will build deep domain expertise in our business processes and underlying systems. Your ability to collaborate optimally will be a key asset in this role.You will lead pilot deployments of new systems/tools across factories, consolidate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive iterative improvements for seamless multi-factory rollout. Evaluate options against various factors and recommend long and short-term strategies. Collaborate on the development of new systems and the extension of existing systems capabilities. Present results and other analytical findings to business partners and leadership. BS/MS degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in program management, in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles and project management experience in a multi-factory environment with a focus on tools or systems deployment/global pilot coordination and issue triaging. Proficient in manufacturing business processes (preferably for hardware products), PLM systems, and supply chain (bills of materials, and contract manufacturing interactions). Possess expert data-driven problem-solving skills, extracting actionable insights and hidden patterns through data analysis, visualization, and storytelling, with meticulous attention to detail, data integrity, wrangling, and business metrics in analytics solutions and projects. Experienced in data visualization, scripting, and applying data metrics models to business. Proficiency in Tableau (or other data visualization tools), and scripting skills in Python and SQL Preferred Qualifications Demonstrate a shown experience in relationship-building and the ability to influence peers and management optimally. Excellent communication skills to influence cross-cultural teams and leadership. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Ability to travel - domestic & international (20%)
