Engineering Manager

Sanglob builds scalable, cloud-native software for global enterprises. We’re growing fast and looking for an Engineering Manager who thrives on scaling teams, driving technical excellence, and delivering products that make a real impact.

Your Role:

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead multiple squads (20–25 engineers through leads), define engineering practices, and partner closely with product and business stakeholders. While you won’t be coding day-to-day, you will be accountable for building high-performing teams, ensuring predictable delivery, and raising engineering standards across projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Scale – Manage and mentor engineering leads and senior engineers; build strong, autonomous teams.
• Deliver Outcomes – Own engineering delivery KPIs (velocity, quality, uptime), and ensure predictable, on-time releases.
• People Growth – Hire, coach, and develop engineers into future leaders.
• Set Direction – Guide architectural consistency and technical decisions across squads.
• Drive Excellence – Champion DevOps, automation, observability, and modern engineering practices.
• Engage Stakeholders – Partner with Product and Business to translate strategy into execution.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in leadership roles managing teams or leads.
• Strong background in modern architectures (microservices, APIs, distributed systems) and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-grade products at scale.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence across engineering and business teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience scaling teams in enterprise or product environments.
• Certifications in Cloud, Agile, or Program/Project Management.
• Industry exposure in Retail, BFSI, Telecom, or Manufacturing.
