Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager with 12 14 years of experience in automotive solution development . The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise , and the ability to manage multi-functional teams while effectively engaging with stakeholders, customers, ODMs, and suppliers . This role requires a proactive, innovative leader who can drive technical excellence, ensure successful project execution, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge automotive solutions.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Manage team performance through regular reviews, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Ensure seamless coordination within the team and across departments to drive successful project outcomes.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

Act as the primary point of contact for customers, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring alignment with business and technical expectations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, ODMs, suppliers, and third-party vendors, ensuring smooth execution of projects.
Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and facilitate effective communication between the engineering team and customers.

Technical Oversight & Development

Provide technical guidance and support to the team, leveraging expertise in development languages such as C/C++ and Java.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
Stay abreast of automotive industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the teams work.
Ensure seamless coordination across software, firmware, cloud, and mobile application development teams.
Drive best practices in architecture, design, and software development processes to improve quality and efficiency.

Project & Program Management

Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop and execute project plans, track progress, and proactively address risks and roadblocks.
Ensure successful integration of embedded software, cloud solutions, mobile applications, and hardware components.

System Understanding & Innovation

Possess a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end automotive systems, including embedded software, cloud, and mobile applications.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
12 14 years of experience in automotive software engineering , with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
Strong technical expertise in C/C++, Java , and an understanding of end-to-end systems, including cloud and mobile applications .
Experience in managing multi-functional engineering teams and delivering successful projects.
Proven ability to engage with customers, ODMs, and suppliers , ensuring effective collaboration and execution.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
