Engineering Manager

As a Salesforce Engineering Manager with 10+ years of experience (7 years in Salesforce) in complex software development and support, you will be responsible for working closely with business and partner IT teams to understand business data, requirements, and integrations. Your role will involve ensuring and managing stable operations, as well as implementing new capabilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Daily project governance throughout the life cycle - Manage risks and issues, and propose/drive corrective actions - Collaborate with governance bodies and sponsors to ensure continued alignment to expected outcomes - Translate the client's business objectives into technical requirements covering all aspects of the functionalities - Identify & highlight different risks and impacts involved and work on mitigation plans - Lead and guide the technical teams during various phases of the project including (but not limited to) design, coding, unit testing to deployment - Demonstrate technical leadership and exert influence outside of the immediate team - Review the code to ensure requirement coverage and adherence to best practices - Experience in developing high-level architecture design of current and future state solution based on business requirements and value propositions - Experience on managed packages and App exchange apps and tools - Good communication skills - Must be able to manage interactions with various stakeholders globally **Qualifications Required:** - Typically, a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or a master's degree and up to five years of experience - Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience leading large-scale projects - Hands-on experience leading/managing Salesforce projects - Primary Skills Knowledge and Skills: SFDC Admin configuration and customization, Apex, Apex Triggers, and Visualforce Integration (REST), Salesforce Lightning (Aura, LWC, JavaScript) - Secondary Skills: Troubleshooting and identifying the issues, Good to have SCRUM, PD2 & Architect certification In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, you will be expected to have hands-on Salesforce platform and cloud experience. You should be able to play a 50% Salesforce architect role, with a mix of technical architect and people manager capabilities. You should also be able to manage teams as a project and people manager, while understanding the enterprise architecture from Salesforce being part of that.
