Engineering Manager

As a Salesforce Engineering Manager with over 10 years of experience (with 7 years specifically in Salesforce), you will be responsible for overseeing complex software development and support activities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business and partner IT teams to understand business data, requirements, and integrations, ensuring stable operations and implementing new capabilities effectively. Your responsibilities will include daily project governance throughout the project life cycle, managing risks and issues, and proposing/driving corrective actions. You will also collaborate with governance bodies and sponsors to ensure alignment with expected outcomes. Your role will involve translating client business objectives into technical requirements, identifying risks, developing mitigation plans, and providing technical leadership to the team. You will lead and guide technical teams in various project phases, from design and coding to unit testing and deployment. It will be essential for you to review code to ensure requirement coverage and adherence to best practices, develop high-level architecture designs based on business requirements, and have experience with managed packages and AppExchange apps and tools. In addition to your technical expertise, strong communication skills will be crucial as you manage interactions with stakeholders globally. You should have a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree with up to five years of experience. Ideally, you will hold a bachelor's degree and have over 10 years of experience leading large-scale projects, especially in managing Salesforce projects. Your primary skills should include knowledge of SFDC Admin configuration and customization, Apex, Apex Triggers, Visualforce, integration (REST), and Salesforce Lightning (Aura, LWC, JavaScript). It would be beneficial to have secondary skills in troubleshooting, issue identification, and certifications like SCRUM, PD2, and Architect certification.
