As an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled Linux developers specializing in cybersecurity and Bash scripting. Your primary focus will involve developing, enhancing, and maintaining secure Linux-based platforms for medical devices, ensuring excellence in quality, compliance, and performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Linux and cybersecurity developers to promote technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Define team goals, conduct performance evaluations, and drive professional growth aligned with organizational objectives. - Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project milestones. - Plan, prioritize, and oversee software development activities in alignment with project timelines, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with technical leads to ensure robust Linux system configurations, secure software architecture, and effective automation strategies. - Monitor project risks, identify mitigation strategies, and ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable Linux solutions. - Serve as the primary technical and organizational interface between development teams, QA, DevOps, Product Management, and international stakeholders. - Translate complex technical requirements into actionable plans for the development team. - Ensure clear and effective communication across all project phases to address challenges proactively. - Drive the adoption of continuous integration, automated testing, and build optimization practices for reliable and efficient software delivery. - Monitor and integrate emerging trends in Linux, cybersecurity, and automation to promote technology innovation and continuous improvement within the team. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - 10+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a people managerial or engineering management role. - Strong background in Linux systems, cybersecurity, and Bash scripting within regulated industries, preferably healthcare or medical devices. - Solid understanding of Linux system architecture, hardening techniques, and security protocols. - Hands-on knowledge of automation, scripting (Bash/Python), and modern DevOps practices. - Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading cross-functional international teams. - Familiarity with secure software development lifecycles (SSDLC) and medical device compliance standards. - Strong leadership and people management skills, emphasizing team building, coaching, and fostering accountability. - Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to solving technical and organizational challenges. - Exceptional communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders across diverse cultures and geographies.,
