Engineering Manager

We value top-notch collaboration and communication skills, both among internal teams and in how we interact with our users.As the Engineering Manager at HashiCorp, you will build and lead a high-performing team to achieve our vision of an enterprise-ready product across cloud and self-managed offerings. You will drive Engineering to deliver on feature requests and enhance functionality. This role will require productive collaboration with Design, Product, and other cross-functional partners to innovate toward true product-market fit.What you’ll do (responsibilities)? Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse and high-performing engineering team. Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.? Drive the team to deliver on feature requests enhancing the product's capabilities.? Expand and enhance features, ensuring it remains a key differentiator for product.? Work closely with Design, Product, and other cross-functional teams to align on product vision and deliver innovative solutions.? Develop and refine robust processes to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of product.? Prioritize and address customer issues and feedback, continuously improving the customer experience Required education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise ? At least 10 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role. Experience leading diverse product engineering teams is highly preferred.? Strong background in cloud services and infrastructure. Proficiency in Go and familiarity with other programming languages (Python, Ruby) are beneficial.? Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).? Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.? Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team success.? Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. Preferred technical and professional experience ? Familiarity with HashiCorp and IBM Products and Services
