Engineering Lead

The job involves leading the technology function at Vutto, a start-up redefining India's used two-wheeler market. As a Full Stack Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for shaping product architecture, technology choices, and engineering culture to support Vutto's growth. Reporting directly to the founders, you will define the technology roadmap and ensure seamless execution from concept to deployment. In this hands-on leadership role, you will engage in coding and problem-solving while mentoring engineers. Key responsibilities include leading the technology strategy, architecture, and execution for Vutto's core products, collaborating with the founders on product strategy, making key decisions on tech stack and infrastructure, and scaling the engineering team. Additionally, you will evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and establish engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on software development experience in building and scaling tech products, with 2-3 years in a tech lead/high ownership role. Deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and a product mindset are essential. Experience with AI/ML or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
