Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and maintain utility equipment including HVAC systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Air Washers, Compressors, and related utility systems
Ensure uninterrupted and efficient functioning of all utility services
Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of utility equipment to minimize breakdowns
Coordinate and execute corrective maintenance activities as required
Plan and carry out preventive maintenance of all utility equipment as per approved schedules. Prepare and update Preventive Maintenance (PM) checklists for HVAC and utility systems.
Ensure timely completion and proper documentation of preventive maintenance activities.
Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Maintain and update QMS documentation related to utilities and HVAC systems
Prepare, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for utility equipment
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with QMS, safety, and regulatory requirements
Support internal and external audits by providing required utility-related documentation
Maintain minimum inventory stock of critical utility and HVAC spares
Handle and supervise utility technicians and operators
Ensure safe operation of utility equipment and adherence to safety guidelines
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Education Qualification & Experience:

BE/ BTech Mechanical with 3 - 5 years of relevant utility experience in manufacturing industry only
