Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Learn and understand forging processes (open-die, closed-die, ring rolling) and machine shop operations.

Study and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications for various components.
Observe and assist in production planning, raw material handling, and process flow.
Gain knowledge of quality inspection tools and techniques Vernier calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, Magnaflux testing, etc.
Learn tooling & die maintenance procedures in the in-house die shop.
Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for machines like drop hammers, screw presses, and CNC machines.
Follow safety protocols and company quality management systems (ISO 9001, TS 16949).
Prepare basic production and quality reports under guidance of senior engineers.

Preferred candidate profile

Required B.tech/Diploma (Mechanical)
Good Knowledge of Instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Hardness Tester , Gauges etc
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Teams (Word , Excel, Power Point)
