Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Able to perform soldering and desoldering of electronic components, including fine-pitch Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components, onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) as part of Troubleshooting and rework in cross functional domains.
Testing and quality control including inspection and testing of soldered joints for quality and reliability and perform hardware bring-up and test verification.
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of processes and product data.
Equipment and lab maintenance:Maintain, calibrate, and upgrade lab equipment, including soldering stations and test equipment like oscilloscopes and Multimeter.
Cable and harness assembly:Build and verify cables, connectors, and adapters.
Safety compliance:Follow safety standards, cleanroom procedures, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) guidelines.

Skills:

Proficiency in soldering and SMT component replacement (e.g., 0402, SOT23, SOIC, QFN).
BGA Soldering station exposure
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Knowledge of basic electronics, digital and analog theory.
Experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
Troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.

Education Requirements

: ITI or diploma or equivalent is typically required
