Engineer

1. End-to-End Procurement

• Execute the full procurement cycle for DG projects, including sourcing, obtaining quotations, technical/commercial evaluation, negotiations, and issuing purchase orders.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials are procured in line with project requirements, specifications, and deadlines.
• Track deliveries and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely supply of components and services.

2. New Vendor Development

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for DG components, electrical parts, mechanical items, and fabricated assemblies.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments, documentation review, and initial audits for qualification.
• Build and maintain a strong vendor database to support growth and cost optimization.

3. Subcontractor Handling

• Coordinate with subcontractors for fabrication, assembly, panel manufacturing, installation work, or project-specific outsourced tasks.
• Monitor subcontractor performance related to quality, delivery, and cost.
• Resolve operational and documentation issues to ensure seamless workflow.

4. Vendor Management

• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure consistent performance.
• Review vendor delivery, quality, and service levels on a regular basis.
• Address vendor concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives.

5. Coordination Documentation

• Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and project management teams to align sourcing activities with technical needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation such as purchase orders, delivery notes, GRNs, contracts, and price agreements.
• Support in preparing procurement reports, cost comparisons, and MIS updates for management review
