Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Simulation (Thermal)

As a Simulation Engineer at Valeo, your principal mission will be to validate the thermal behavior of products through simulation. You will be responsible for applying thermal simulation methods, managing the thermal simulation plan of products, and validating designs while proposing solutions to improve them. Your role will also involve identifying solutions that consider thermal specifications and constraints of integration, as well as correlating calculations with measurements. Additionally, you will ensure cross-metier collaboration with mechanical, electronic, and laboratory departments. Key Responsibilities: - Apply thermal simulation methods effectively - Manage the thermal simulation plan for products - Validate designs and propose improvements considering thermal specifications - Correlate calculations with measurements and validate solutions - Collaborate with mechanical, electronic, and laboratory departments - Support methodology development and application of simulation tools - Participate in defining design rules and improving methodologies - Report and document simulation method improvements and validation test methods - Store reports in TMT system and participate in QRQC resolution - Support P1 developments including LEDs systems Qualifications: - Education/Training: Engineer or Master of Science degree with thermal and mass transfer competence, Phd - Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Thermal/Mass transfer phase change domain, experimental validation of simulation, mastery of simulation/calculation tools (FLUENT), knowledge of technical software (CATIA, ANSYS) Joining Valeo means being part of a global innovative company committed to reinventing mobility.
