Job Description Position Title Engineer /Sr. Engineer Mech Design Projects @ Vadodara Company Grade / Level N/A Division / Department Projects Job Purpose Work with Project consultant Engineering team, for designing of Plant mechanical equipment and Piping requirements. Prinicipal job accoutabilities Accountabilities Major Activities Role responsibilities Work with Project consultant Engineering team, for designing of Plant mechanical equipment and Piping requirements. Finalising Project specification for Mechanical Equipment Piping as per latest design standards Monitoring Tracking of Engineering Deliverables for the project Understanding and following Project design best practices Project design consultancy on the basis of Basic Engineering Package. Monitoring the status of the project engineering (designing) and communicate the relevant information to stakeholders Preparation Review of MTO (Material Take of) List BOQ (Bill of Quantity) for the project, to facilitate Procurement activities Preparation Review of Equipment Manufacturing Drawings, GA Drawings Responsible for assigned project from the initial development. This will require meetings with users to fully determine their needs fulfilling the same. Conducts project review meetings identify the issues that come up and plan countermeasures. Supportin Skills and academic qualifications Educational Qualifications Minimum Qualification - B.Tech Mechanical Relevant and total experience Relevant experience required in - 5 to 9 years of experience in the field of Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery Project designing, vendor development for Project consultancy/ design Should have experience of project activities from grassroots level.
