Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES : Managing shift operations and executing planned maintenance jobs scheduled from the previous day. Receive permits for the planned jobs, conduct tool box talks with company employees and contract workers before job execution, and ensure permit closure after the job is completed. At the end of the shift, fill the electronic logbook and circulate it to the reporting manager, section in-charge and department HOD. Manages the preventive maintenance schedules for all instruments. Perform the step related to notification closure procedure on daily basis Supervise the installation of instruments to ensure compliance with design specification and safety standards. Spare management by reviewing the stock levels of consumable and critical material in sub-store to ensure the availability of spare parts at all times. Testing and validates instrument systems to ensure accuracy, reliability and safety. Daily monitoring of DCS system alarm & communication healthiness and in case of any abnormality, inform to his manager in-charge. Ensure strict compliance to LLF activities, cardinal safety rules. Participate in RCA study for repetitive failures to avoid recurrence. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE BE / B. Tech Instrumentation Engineering Experience Total 4 to 8 years hands on experience in handling of Instrumentation system in continuous chemical/petrochemical plants.
