Engineer/ Senior Engineer, Product Quality Management GBPS

As an Engineer/Senior Engineer in the Product Quality Management team at GBPS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the product quality of material processing and Bulk Material Handling equipments. You will be based in Vadodara, India, reporting to the Deputy Manager- Product Quality Management. You may be required to travel up to 10% of the time. In your role, you will work closely with a team of PQM Engineers dedicated to expanding mineral processing and handling equipments. Collaboration with product managers, engineers, and suppliers across the globe will be essential to maintain Metso quality standards. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and approving Inspection & Test Plans, addressing technical queries from suppliers, guiding them for improvement, enforcing corrective actions, and ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising product quality. Your qualifications should include a Diploma/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience for B.Tech and 7 years for Diploma in the heavy manufacturing industry. Experience in welding, machining, casting, international codes (AWS, CWB, ASME, EN), NDT, inspection, and document review of heavy castings, forgings, and fabrications will be necessary. Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a matrix organization are key qualities for this role.
