Job Description

Job Summary

The

Factory Security Specialist

will be responsible for implementing and maintaining physical security measures to safeguard the factory premises, personnel, and assets. This position requires a strong understanding of industrial security standards and best practices to ensure a safe and secure working environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Implement and manage physical security systems (CCTV, access control, perimeter security).
Monitor security alerts and surveillance feeds, responding promptly to incidents.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
Collaborate with operations and safety teams to enforce security protocols.
Respond to and investigate security breaches, thefts, or unauthorized access, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
Train factory staff on security awareness and emergency response procedures.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical security incidents.
Stay updated on latest security technologies and industrial safety standards.

Experience Required

3-6 years of experience in industrial or factory security management.
Strong knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, biometric access, alarm systems).
Experience in handling emergency situations and crisis management.
Familiarity with safety compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
Knowledge of fire safety and evacuation protocols.

Other Key Requirements

Willingness to relocate to Chennai or Bangalore.
Availability to work in rotational shifts.
Readiness to participate in 24/7 emergency response calls.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
