Engineer- QA/QC

1. Ensure supply of quality products

• To carryout 100% inspection of parts offered by the cell.
• Exposure to using of latest precision instruments
• To analyse the cause for non-conformance and report to QC head. Quality Improvement Team I(QITI)
• Generate and monitor notification reports for non-confirming products. Generation and process of product acceptance note (PAN)
• To ensure & monitor all the instruments test flanges are used by the specific cell and self are duly calibrated.
• To inspect the First Piece production on priority basis & report the details in prescribed format.
• To maintain ECR reports and dispose the components (Stores) stock and or work in progress according to the advice as noted in the ECN.

2. Ensure 100% defect free products and customer satisfaction

• To educate operators using proper instruments for respective jobs.
• Ability to have attention to detail, produce error free work, manage records and documentation.
• To impart training on the usage of new or precision instruments users To advice operators on improving the existing process, such a way to reduce time and improve quality and reduce rejections.
• To participate in Quality Improvement Team Meetings(QIT I) with relevant details like rejection, rework, deviation percentages and to implement the suggestions delivered by the team.
• To re-inspect reworked and repaired parts to comply with drawings prints.
• To visit subcontractor locations for inspection as and when required. To monitor and maintain material test certification, which are mandatory as per the customer's purchase order requirement.
• To obtain deviations from affiliates prior to dispatch for the non-conforming parts due for all orders.
• Inspection and testing of new product development
