Engineer - Production

The Production Engineer at GD NASH in Pune, a part of Ingersoll Rand's engineered solutions division & PFT, will be responsible for overseeing and managing all production activities in the facility. This role involves planning, implementing safety guidelines, ensuring regulatory compliance, and continually seeking ways to enhance production efficiency. Additionally, the Production Engineer will focus on achieving targets at various intervals, updating daily production reports, reducing cycle time, and emphasizing quality, safety, and 5S practices. Maintaining accurate records for product work orders, studying workload projections, resolving production issues, and coordinating with the engineering team are vital aspects of this position. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in Piping Fabrication and skid manufacturing, possess knowledge of manufacturing processes and welding activities, and be proficient in MS Office and SAP. A Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production) along with 3 to 5 years of experience as a Production Engineer/Supervisor is required. The ability to efficiently resolve operational issues is crucial for this role. Key responsibilities include resource planning, developing operator skills, preparing procedures, conducting tests, and ensuring timely project completion. The Production Engineer will also be involved in daily planning, monitoring, and allocation of manpower as per project requirements. The salary offered for this role is in the range of 30K to 40K per month (3.6 to 4.8 LPA) with the position being on the company's roll. Ingersoll Rand Inc.
