Engineer NPD

As a Product Development Engineer at our company, you will play a key role in leading or supporting the design and development of new products based on market requirements. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating and evaluating design concepts, prototypes, and drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. - Conducting design reviews, FMEA, and DFM/DFA analysis to ensure product quality and performance. In the aspect of Project Management, you will be expected to: - Develop and manage project timelines and deliverables effectively. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals, deadlines, and budgets. - Regularly report project status and risks to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment. For Testing & Validation, your tasks will involve: - Developing test plans and validation protocols. - Coordinating lab testing, field trials, and performance evaluations. - Analyzing test results and implementing design modifications based on findings. In terms of Documentation, you will be responsible for: - Preparing and maintaining all NPD-related documentation, including product design files, engineering change requests, project reports, test reports, and design history files. - Documenting product specifications and user manuals to ensure clear guidelines for use. Additionally, you will be involved in Process Development & Handover by: - Supporting the transition of new products into production. - Collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to develop processes, jigs, and fixtures. - Providing training and technical support during product launch to ensure a smooth handover.
