Engineer NPD

You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Lead or support the design and development of new products based on market requirements. - Create and evaluate design concepts, prototypes, and drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). - Conduct design reviews, FMEA, and DFM/DFA analysis. - Develop and manage project timelines and deliverables. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals, deadlines, and budgets. - Report project status and risks to stakeholders regularly. - Develop test plans and validation protocols. - Coordinate lab testing, field trials, and performance evaluations. - Analyze test results and implement design modifications as needed. - Prepare and maintain all NPD-related documentation, including: - Product design files (CAD drawings, BOMs) - Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) - Project reports and timelines - Test reports and validation documents - DFMEA/PFMEA - Design history files (DHF) - Product specifications and user manuals - Support the transition of new products into production. - Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to develop processes, jigs, and fixtures. - Provide training and technical support during product launch.
