Engineer (NodeJS Developer & Support)

Role Overview: As an engineer in Tech Pacific Domain at ANZ, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration of systems and applications by utilizing your deep understanding of integration methodologies and strong analytical skills. You will work collaboratively within high performing Agile teams and have the opportunity to closely engage with onshore Platform teams for operational management aspects. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the GCC team - Collaborate with New Zealand technical teams and Product Owner to define platform health scope and objectives - Assist in release management of Microservices Platform & Temporal Platforms for operational activities - Maintain & support operational documentation - Define solutions for automation of routine BAU platform tasks - Work closely with development teams for service handover - Investigate vulnerabilities prior to resolution by engineers - Execute test plans to validate integration solutions and ensure system functionality - Identify and resolve integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement new solutions Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years of experience in integration engineering or platform engineering, with a focus on integration platforms - Strong experience in Node.JS development & support - Proven experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift, EKS) and multi-cloud environments (on-prem, AWS, GCP, Azure) - Knowledge of API development and integration (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, message queues) - Experience with Testing approaches - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience in planning, scheduling, JIRA, Confluence, DevOps, and environments fully automated through CD - Configuring continuous integration, deployment, and delivery tools like Jenkins / CodeFresh - Instrumenting monitoring and logging of applications About the Company: ANZ is a place where big things happen, providing banking and financial services across more than 30 markets.
