Engineer Mechanical Maintenance

As an Engineer Mechanical Maintenance at Linde, you will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance of Hydrogen and Air Separation Unit (ASU) plants. Your role will involve coordinating the preparation and execution of overhauling of rotating equipment during turnarounds, emergency shutdowns, and equipment breakdowns. You will also assist in maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines, as well as plan and prepare spare requirements and assist in the procurement process. Additionally, you will study and review drawings, execute jobs, prepare detailed plans for major shutdowns, and assist in vendor selection for material supply and services. Implementing Alerts, Technical Bulletins, directives, and guidelines as per Center of Excellence (CoE) recommendations and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements will be part of your responsibilities. You will also support Root Cause Failure Analysis related to mechanical equipment failures, review plant condition-based data for reliable operation, and carry out inspections during construction and commissioning of rotating equipment for projects. Furthermore, you will be accountable for ensuring the preventive maintenance program for all mechanical equipment. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent, with two to four years of experience in oil refining, petrochemical, or air separation plants.
