Engineer Mechanical - Creo

Role Overview: You will work in a global environment providing design engineering support for new product development, VAVE, and improvement projects. You will be responsible for planning and managing engineering support work, working on projects such as concept design, NPD, bills of materials, CAD modeling, and change orders. Quick acquisition of product knowledge is essential to execute projects efficiently. You will work on the design and development of parts/assemblies, providing design packages including 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures. Interaction with team members from different global locations for project coordination is vital, along with participation in customer and internal review meetings. Adherence to project management processes and quality standards set by the organization is expected, along with the ability to handle additional responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Work on design projects for new product development, VAVE, and improvement projects - Plan and manage engineering support work with desired quality output and timeframe - Execute projects such as concept design, NPD, bills of materials, CAD modeling, and change orders - Provide design packages including 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures - Independently work on projects with little guidance - Interact with global team members for project coordination and meet design requirements and deadlines - Participate in customer and internal review meetings - Provide project estimations based on requirements - Adhere to project management processes and quality standards - Acknowledge and responsibly execute additional stretch responsibilities Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant design exposure - 3-5 years of experience on Creo platform in sheet metal domain - Expertise in 3D modeling, detailing work on Creo, and generating Bills of Materials - Working experience with PLM tools, Agile, or PD cloud is advantageous - Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process, experience in a fabrication environment is a plus - Experience in telecom/electrical enclosure design is beneficial - Good interpersonal skills and effective communication in written and spoken English - Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, willing to learn, and organized - Experience in handling large CAD assemblies in CREO and managing modifications - Working experience with External Simplified representation is advantageous (Note: The additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
