Job Description

As an Engineer (ME - Toolroom) with 1 to 3 years of experience, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Execute Proto engine Assembly, Testing, Painting and Packing Process. - Establish Facility/Process for new or modified engines. - Conduct Proto trails and execute Engine proto assembly as per plan. - Prepare and update process documents/work instruction, tool lists. - Establish new fastening tools and assembly fixtures. - Conduct time, motion, and work study. - Execute Process change management for continual improvement through Productivity, Quality, Cost, and Safety. - Update programs for new Electrical fastening tools and Testing cycles in respective software. - Execute Process improvement and Quality improvement by implementation of different levels of Poka-Yoke, Low cost automations, and work standardization. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - Must have Knowledge of Assembly, Testing, Painting and Packing process, preferably in the Engine industry. - Tightening techniques and fastening tools. - Motion study, capacity planning & Cycle time calculation. - Process and costing. - Technical Drawing & Standards including Component and assembly drawing, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and Drawing reading, Engine terminology and their measurement methods. - Knowledge of Quality & Management Systems like ISO/TS, Kaizen, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices. - Familiarity with Testing software and drafting (AutoCAD) software, as well as Material handling systems and equipment. - Soft Skills required include being proactive, innovative, and a team player.,
