Responsibility Ensure use of Personal protective equipment during work. Ensure safety precaution during work. Ensure for cleaning of area & equipment before use. Ensure the status label for all equipment. Maintain the records of Maintenance and Production Department as per SOPs. Do maintenance activities (Electrical and Mechanical) during plant running & shut down. Coordinating with the utility / service depts. viz boiler, chiller, air compressor, laboratory, Excise, Security, etc. PRF and Issue of miscellaneous items through raising necessary requisition in SAP for Production and Maintenance Dept. Check all the pipelines, valves, and pumps for any leakage during work. On Job training to down line on need basis. Run the Filling line as and when require. Maintain the installed facilities for desired hygiene. Ensure the weekly / monthly Preventive maintenance of equipment. Deviation / CAPA / Validation / Protocols / SOP preparation for both Production and Maintenance department. Leave approval of subordinates. Ensure over all discipline in section. To keep the HOD informed about any kind of deviations related to Quality, Productivity and Maintenace and Hygiene. To extend support in implementing, maintaining, and improving all stipulated systems, time to time, as per the directives received from HOD. To prevent any activity in the department which is / can lead to any unsafe act that can came harm to employees and / or environment. Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components and installation. Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Ensure that equipments are in good working order to prevent disruption of activities. Monitoring and Ensuring activities related to Project and Vendor. Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management. Assist in forecasting requirement, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for Maintenance and Production Department. Keep record of all stock and supplies, including companys equipment. Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the beat cost-effective manufacturing, filling and packing process. Perform energy audit and recommend alternative sources of energy. Help the organization to reduce energy cost. To maintain safety standard. To maintain GMP standard. Prepare / Review of Documents for Production & Maintenance.
