Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced SCADA Engineer to oversee and manage the SCADA infrastructure across our solar power plants. This role includes design, configuration, integration, and advanced troubleshooting of PLC and IoT-based SCADA systems, ensuring reliable and secure data acquisition and control systems for optimal plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and configure SCADA and PLC systems for solar power plants.
Lead the installation, commissioning, and integration of SCADA hardware and software.
Monitor system performance and data integrity; proactively resolve communication or system faults.
Manage firmware updates, backups, and version control for SCADA systems.
Develop dashboards and analytical tools to support operational decision-making.
Coordinate with the O&M team and vendors to resolve system issues.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and compliance reports for audits.
Provide technical training and support to technicians and junior staff.
Ensure cybersecurity best practices in SCADA network configurations.
Required Skills:
In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC programming (Siemens/Schneider/ABB), Modbus, TCP/IP, and IoT protocols.
Hands-on experience in system integration, remote monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with solar SCADA architecture and field equipment (inverters, meters, weather stations, RTUs).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple sites and work under minimal supervision.
