Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Dispatch Head to lead our Dispatch and Packaging operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of finished goods, managing packaging standards, optimizing logistics, and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Dispatch Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the dispatch of finished goods to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor daily dispatch schedules and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays. Ensure the correct tagging, loading, and documentation of dispatched materials. Packaging Activities: Supervise and ensure proper packaging of products as per client and industry standards. Coordinate with the production team to ensure packaging readiness before dispatch. Monitor the quality and availability of packaging materials and initiate procurement as needed. Logistics Coordination: Liaise with transporters, drivers, and warehouse staff to optimize transportation efficiency. Ensure accurate and complete documentation for shipments, including invoices, packing lists, E-way bills, and delivery notes. Track shipments and address delays or transportation issues promptly. Inventory Control: Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records. Monitor stock levels and packaging material inventory to meet dispatch schedules effectively. Team Leadership: Lead and manage the dispatch and packaging teams, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety standards. Conduct regular training and skill development sessions for team members. Evaluate performance and encourage a culture of continuous improvement. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all dispatch and packaging activities comply with internal and external policies and regulations. Generate regular reports on dispatch performance, costs, and packaging efficiency. Skills Required: In-depth knowledge of dispatch operations, logistics management, and packaging processes. Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities. Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and dispatch documentation. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
