Engineer - Industrial Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement.

2. Manage production schedules and coordinate services to maximize productivity.

3. Optimization of Resources (Man, Machine, Method, Material)

4. Implement best practices, Lean tools and techniques, world class methodologies.

5. Work with peers, customers, and Cross functional team with best practices and standards

6. Provide leadership to a team of Junior Engineers, Technicians

7. Establish time standards through Time & Motion study techniques (UPH, UPPH)

8. Designing & modifying the new / existing layout to optimize the space & to achieve process flow.

9. Evaluate the resource requirements for the new / existing layout and to ensure the optimum use.

10. Improve the Line balancing for production process.

11. Ergonomics assessment and implement necessary action plan for workstations.

12. Capacity analysis for both long-term and short-term scenario

13. Calculating the overall labor efficiency, to analyze and improve the gap between current and target efficiency.

14. Manpower planning based on production plan for allocation.

15. Deploy Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.

16. To track the continuous improvement projects

17. Coordinate and follow up the Purchase Requests till the receipt of the resource.

Preferred candidate profile

• Engineering Graduate preferably in Industrial, Mechanical & Electronics
• Min 3 - 5 Years of relevant hands-on experience in Industrial Engineering
• Hands on experience in Designing Layout in Auto CAD, Capacity Planning, Manpower Calculation and Productivity Improvement
• Lean Manufacturing Tools & Techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to design and understand technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
• Exposure to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, NADCAP, AS9100 QMS Requirements, Certifications & Audits.
