Technology manages or performs work associated with analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of Cond Nasts information technology resources (including computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, data processing and security), telecommunication systems, and software/database products through internal staff, outsourcing staff, or consultants. Activities include developing information technology strategies, polices and plans; maintenance and use of information technology resources; training and supporting technology users; telecommunications network planning, operations and site acquisition; programming software/database products for sale to external customers; and internet product management & operations.IT Infrastructure is responsible for the overall direction for Cond Nasts technical infrastructure. Positions work to drive standards and harmonization of technology across the enterprise. They define the future technology architecture strategy and its implementation across all technology areas. They work with technical staff to integrate hardware, software and network interfaces to form a cohesive system and address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.Seasoned professional individual contributorWorks independently with limited supervisionMay manage projects/processes
