Role

Responsibilities

• Programming: You will be responsible for writing and debugging CNC programs, ensuring that they are accurate and efficient in producing high-quality parts.
• Machine Set-Up: You will be responsible for setting up and preparing CNC machines for production runs, including installing tooling, fixtures, and making necessary adjustments.
• Maintenance: You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Quality Control: You will be responsible for monitoring the quality of parts produced by CNC machines, and making adjustments as necessary to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Process Improvement: You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement in the CNC machine shop, and implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Safety: You will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment in the CNC machine shop, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Communication: You will be responsible for effectively communicating with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and collaboration.
• Training: You will be responsible for training and mentoring junior engineers and machine operators to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
