Position: Engineer / Associate Engineer – Equipment Department: Equipment Maintenance & Support Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Location: Oragadam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu Contact: Pavithra – 9600186183 Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and motivated Engineer / Associate Engineer for the Equipment department to manage troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment optimization, and support production operations. The ideal candidate must have a background in SMT & Backend equipment and a strong understanding of EMS industry standards. Key Responsibilities:Troubleshooting & Maintenance of production equipment Minimize and track equipment downtime; resolve issues to root cause Coordinate with CFT (Cross-Functional Teams) for process and yield improvement Execute and monitor CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) Support product changeovers and ensure smooth transitions Plan and carry out routine maintenance at all levels Participate in shift communication meetings Manage spare parts inventory Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) Ensure proper operation, handling, and safety of all machines Maintain 5S standards and ensure machine safety compliance Perform machine programming and configuration Provide NPI (New Product Introduction) support Prepare and follow IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols Maintain effective verbal and written communication with teams Qualifications:BE / Diploma in EEE / ECE / Mechanical or related field Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Equipment Maintenance in EMS industry Area of Expertise: SMT and Backend Equipment Requirements:Must be from the EMS industry Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, OEE tracking, and validation protocols Strong analytical and communication skills Male candidates preferred (as per job requirement) Must attend Face-to-Face Interview at Oragadam Off-roll position Salary & Benefits:Net Take Home Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹28,000 Food & Transport Facilities Provided Other benefits as per company policy
