Engine Performance Simulation

As a Group/Team lead in the combustion simulation team, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Develop ICE combustion concepts using 1D and 3D CFD tools. - Establish development methodologies for correlating simulations with engine/vehicle tests. - Plan work, conduct reviews, and focus on team member skill development. - Model various powertrain subsystems. - Correlate in-cylinder combustion behavior with hardware to evaluate its impact on engine emissions and performance. - Develop and assess advanced engine technologies to contribute to carbon neutrality through the use of alternative fuels. In terms of technical/functional competencies, you should have: - Relevant work experience in the advanced development of Powertrain. - Experience in setting up 1D/3D CFD simulations and correlating them with testing. - Expertise in optimizing combustion using 1D/3D CFD tools. - Hands-on experience with 1D simulation tools like GT Suite, AVL Boost, etc. - Proficiency with 3D simulation tools like Converge, StarCD, StarICE, AVL Fire, etc. - Operation experience with Emission Analyzer, Chassis Dynamometer, Combustion Analyzer, Bench Dynamometer, Data acquisition, and analysis software (INCA, MDA, Concerto, etc). - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and be self-motivated for independent work. - Flexibility in managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities. - Strong soft and IT skills. For educational qualification and experience, you should have: - PhD/Doctorate or equivalent specializing in ICE combustion, 3D CFD, etc. for Gasoline, CNG, H2, etc. - B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Automobile / Production / Electrical / Electronic Engineering. - Minimum of 60% marks in your educational qualifications.,
