Roles & Responsibilities NVH level target setting for powertrain. NVH evaluation of powertrain and the achievement of defined unit level targets. Execution of advance powertrain projects including Flex fuels / Biofuels / HEVs etc. Knowledge of Modal Analysis, Transfer Path Analysis to solve complex NVH issues. Summarization of findings along with objective evaluation of counter-measure effectiveness. Tracking the trend of future powertrain technology and their NVH impact. Interact regularly with Market Quality, New development quality and Engineering Design Departments. Competencies Relevant work experience in Powertrain NVH (ICE/Hybrid/EV/ Alternate fuels ICE ) Know-how of NVH characteristics of engine and its subsystems. Understanding of new model/unit design & development. Experience of unit testing on engine dynamometers and anechoic chamber operation. Skills in using software like IMC FAMOS, CONCERTO, INCA and other NVH tools like Siemens Test lab. Hand-on experience in operating the Engine dynamometer and anechoic chamber facilities Qualification B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Electrical Engineering. Minimum 60% marks 4-10 years of experience
