Job Description

Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in risk management, data analysis, or a similar analytical role, preferably within financial services or a collections environment.

Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, and SAS.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong understanding of credit risk principles, collection processes, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Bachelor s degree in finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Masters degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine risk models and segmentation strategies to identify high-risk accounts and optimize collection efforts.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to customer payment behavior and collection outcomes.
Monitor the effectiveness of existing collection strategies and recommend adjustments based on performance data and market conditions.
Collaborate with collections operations, credit, and other departments to implement and test new strategies.
Prepare and present regular reports and insights on collection performance, risk exposure, and strategy effectiveness to management.
Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in risk management and collections.
Assist in the development and maintenance of policy and procedure documentation related to collection risk.
