Eng Supply Specialist II

You will be working as an Eng Supp Spec II at Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) where your primary responsibility will be managing and updating the Aero lab across different HTS sites. This will involve handling various test solutions and equipment, ensuring they are up to date with calibration and certification requirements. You will collaborate with different teams across Aero to review electrical and mechanical needs for different test setups as per product specifications. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining and optimizing the lab layout to accommodate upcoming programs efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** - Knowledge of using different lab instruments and tools like DMM, Analyzers etc. - Strong work experience with Cable harness fabrication (crimping & Soldering) as per standards. - Detailed knowledge of different kinds of power used across labs (AC & DC). - Planning the lab layout for different types of test benches and exploring opportunities for lab space optimization. - Planning electrical and mechanical requirements of different labs across HTS sites and supporting the deployment of test benches in the lab. - Cable fabrication, Soldering, Lab Equipment Handling, ESD in the lab, and a good understanding of IPC-A-610 certification. - Electrical & mechanical integration knowledge. - Proactively connecting with users and collaborating with product teams to understand overall test solution needs. - Mapping the competitive landscape, benchmarking the design and technology trends. - Being open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism. **Qualifications Required:** - 4+ years of industry experience in lab management with hands-on experience in equipment calibration, testing, and maintenance. - Diploma or equivalent degree in Electrical engineering. - Hands-on experience in dealing with different teams across organizations for coordination of lab upgrade and maintenance. - Knowledge of different kinds of cable harness and connectors (DSUB, Circular). - Understanding of different lab equipment, their functions, and input requirements. - Understanding of Lab electrical, Mechanical, and cooling requirements. - Go-getter attitude and ability to maneuver in complex, abstract, and dynamic business scenarios. - Understanding of AC and DC power supply systems. - Prior hands-on experience on test solutions.
