Energy Management & Sustainability- HCL, Bangalore

The Energy Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing energy efficiency programs and initiatives across the shop floor. This role requires a hands-on approach to monitor and optimize energy usage, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and achieving cost savings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy management and practical experience working on the shop floor, with a focus on sustainable operations

• Energy Management:
• Develop and implement energy management strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
• Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and analyze energy usage data to track performance and identify trends.
• Collaborate with shop floor personnel to implement energy-saving measures.
• Experience in supporting/developing a Energy monitoring platform
• Sustainable Operations:
• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of shop floor operations.
• Promote the use of renewable energy sources and sustainable materials.
• Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and progress towards goals.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal energy and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and submit energy and sustainability reports and documentation as required.
• Technical Expertise:
• Utilize energy management software and tools to optimize performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance on energy-related and sustainability issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in energy management, with at least 4 years on the shop floor.

• Strong knowledge of energy management and sustainability principles, practices, and technologies.
• Proficiency in energy management software and data analysis tools.
