Embedded Systems Engineer

Role Overview: You will be part of a client company involved in developing and supplying special-purpose mechatronic and robotic systems for Defence, Aerospace, and Medical Devices industries. Key Responsibilities: - **Embedded Hardware:** - Assess and select components such as MCU, electric, electronic, connectors. - Design embedded systems architecture including I/Os, Power Delivery, PCB layouts. - Develop custom PCBs and coordinate with vendors. - Use calculations and simulations for analog and digital circuit design. - Uphold hardware design standards for safety and regulatory compliance. - Prototype, test, and support system integration of embedded systems. - **Embedded Software:** - Design embedded software architecture. - Develop firmware, device drivers, and software adhering to coding standards. - Debug, optimize, test, and deploy system software. - Ensure software quality and regulatory compliance. - Design UI and maintain related documentation. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in embedded systems development. - Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit development. - Proficiency in reading schematics and data sheets for components. - Experience with schematic design, PCB layouts, and simulation software. - Familiarity with hardware targets like NI, TI, ARM-based, etc. - Knowledge of designing for EMC/EMI/ESD and safety regulatory certifications. - Skills in programming with C, Python, embedded Linux, and RTOS. - Understanding of interfaces, IP protocols, and hardware subsystems. - Experience in debugging using debugging tools and system integration testing. - Awareness of design, coding, and regulatory standards.
