Job Description

Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer (Hardware & Firmware)

Role Overview
We are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer who can take ownership of both firmware development and hardware integration. The ideal candidate will be involved in the complete product development cycle — from concept and design to testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust firmware for microcontrollers and embedded platforms using C/C++.
  • Work alongside the hardware team to ensure smooth integration between circuits and software.
  • Design test plans and perform unit, integration, and system-level testing for embedded modules.
  • Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize firmware for speed, stability, memory footprint, and power usage.
  • Implement and maintain hardware communication interfaces including I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and similar protocols.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation covering design decisions, code structure, and test results.
  • Contribute to design reviews, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement.
  • Explore new tools, microcontrollers, and embedded technologies to enhance product capability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Embedded Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of experience in embedded firmware design and debugging.

• Strong command over C/C++ with exposure to low-level programming and microcontroller assembly.

  • Practical experience with 8-bit/16-bit/32-bit MCU families such as ARM Cortex-M, PIC, AVR, or STM32.
  • Good understanding of digital/analog interfaces, microcontroller peripherals, and embedded hardware basics.
  • Hands-on experience with debugging tools: oscilloscopes, JTAG/SWD programmers.

Preferred/Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with wireless stacks like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, or LoRa.
  • Experience with PCB bring-up, schematic interpretation, and hardware fault diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of basic electronics, circuit behavior, testing methods, and engineering documentation.

Soft Skills

  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Clear communication and organized documentation skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to explore new embedded technologies and tools.
