Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

You will be responsible for overseeing the full hardware production lifecycle, starting from prototype validation to final production QA before shipping. It will be your duty to ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality benchmarks across every production batch. Additionally, you will lead in-house electronics and production hardware testing, which includes PCB validation, component-level checks, and functional on-device verifications. You will need to debug firmware on embedded systems (C/C++ and Python) and provide support for real-time validation. Rigorous on-device testing for hardware-software integration, edge-case simulations, and ensuring the product's environmental resilience will also fall under your responsibilities. Acting as the bridge between R&D and Production teams, you will ensure smooth handover and documentation of SOPs, Test Procedures, firmware versions, and calibration standards. Collaborating with Hardware Support and Project teams to log, investigate, and resolve product issues, as well as closing customer feedback loops, will be crucial. Leading the Hardware QA and Production Testing Team with ownership, clarity, and accountability is an essential part of this role. Establishing a culture of discipline, traceability, and continuous improvement in production workflows will be expected from you. You will also be required to develop internal knowledge bases, SOPs, and training modules for product onboarding. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a B.Tech/B.E/M.E degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics product development or QA/testing in IoT or embedded hardware domains is required. Proficiency in Embedded C/C++, Python, and the use of hardware testing tools is essential. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and product release workflows is also necessary. You should possess proven skills in hardware diagnostics, debugging, and test report generation. A strong understanding of quality assurance practices, environmental testing procedures, and certification requirements is crucial. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are a must-have for this role.
