Embedded Eng Manager

Role Overview: As an Embedded Engineering Manager at Honeywell, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of a comprehensive Functional test strategy, automation, and simulation strategy across IA_HPS PAS. Your main customers include the Honeywell Engineering and Technology organization and Technical Support Groups. You will provide test services for research, development, qualification, certification, and testing of components and systems. Your role will involve providing best quality test deliverables, aligning test resources, driving test execution, and developing test resources and capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a long-term Functional, performance, automation, and simulation testing strategy for the SBG. - Lead and mentor a team of domain and automation/simulation testing professionals. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test scenarios and ensure 100% coverage with strong automation and simulation testing pipeline in the product development lifecycle. - Design and maintain test strategies and automation/simulation framework to support various testing phases. - Drive continuous improvement in testing practices by leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies. - Manage the creation, execution, and maintenance of test deliverables to ensure robust product releases. - Analyze test results, report on testing progress and issues, and make recommendations for improvements. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Manage budget, resources, and timelines for testing activities. - Help achieve LOB AOP commitments through timely delivery of products. - Drive quality improvement initiatives and Innovation. - Resolve customer issues and provide technical support for quick issue resolution. - Drive SBG and Cross SBG initiatives as a part of V&V COE. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. - 15+ years of experience in system function/automation-simulation testing or Development within a large-scale enterprise environment. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing testing team. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Knowledge of Virtualization (VMWare) and Engineering lifecycle of product development. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C# is advantageous. - Exposure to Test and Requirement Management Tools such as JIRA, Xray is a must.
