Position: Embedded C Engineer (Voice Engine Development)
Location: Onsite/Hybrid – Noida (2–3 days in office)
Engagement: Full-time
Experience: 2-5 Years
As an Embedded C Engineer, you will develop the lightweight voice engine for Lava’s feature phones, ensuring multilingual support, optimized memory usage, and smooth integration with hardware constraints.
•Design and develop the proprietary TTS/voice playback engine in C/C++.
•Implement audio compression algorithms (e.g., IMA ADPCM) and phoneme mapping.
•Build language packs and integrate multi-language prompts.
•Work with RTOS Engineer to integrate engine into Lava firmware.
•Optimize for low memory, low latency, and power efficiency.
•Prepare developer documentation and support handover to Lava engineering teams.
•Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming.
•Familiarity with ARM-based processors and low-level debugging tools.
•Experience in audio codec implementation and digital signal processing basics.
•Prior work on embedded systems with constrained resources (2G phones, IoT devices).
•2–5 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
